I bought this shirt the other day in a retro shop down the street. I've always wanted a red blouse and this one has little pictures of leaves on it which I liked because I've been swept up in the autumn colours since I arrived. I was very pleased with it when I left the shop
When I got it home the post-purchase doubt I've inherited from my father started to set in. On second inspection it struck me that this shirt might be a tiny bit like what you'd expect to find the receptionist wearing when you check into a hotel in Alice Springs. Then I started thinking: "What if it's actually the uniform that K-mart employees in Germany wear? People will think I'm wearing it in my free time with jeans. It could be the uniform of any number of chains in Germany, how am I supposed to know?"
Unfortunately, I'm going to have to wear it out tonight because we've had another shocking incident with the washing machine and I've got no other clothes. Jack thought the washing machine was also a drier. When he opened it up a couple of days ago and found everything dry, he put it all away. Turns out they'd never actually been washed. The wretched thing had never started.
I look forward hearing your thoughts about the shirt.

People who wear sandals and socks probably think it's fine to have a big night out wearing their Bunnings' apron. Do not worry.
Why would you buy a shirt when you have only one pair of pants??
I bought a lovely wrap around skirt in Laos that felt really authentically Laotian and I wore it around Luang Prabang a bit. I got heaps of smiles and giggles from the locals and I thought it was appreciative of my efforts to fit in, until I saw a large group of school girls all wearing the same skirt I had chosen. I was wearing the primary school uniform by mistake.
I think the shirt is okay but I think you should wait until you leave Europe before you wear it in public.
I say embrace it ...Just like sach and my "CREW" tshirt that I wear to work gigs ...he wears it all weekend then it doubles as pjs
Mate I think I wore that as a uniform when working in Elsternwick Private Hospital 2004
